The was a project we undertook in 2008, we modernised 13 Thyssen passenger lifts, all works had to be carried out at night in order to keep the building functioning as normal with minimum disturbance to staff.

The Thyssen motors and gears were retained, everything else was replaced, using Kollmorgan control systems, Thyssen door operators utilising destination control touch screens on each landing without buttons within the lift cars.
